Reconstruction and Maintenance
The schools which do have their own buildings and spaces but not properly maintained and utilized, will also be assisted. For example: wall plastering, ground leveling, gardening, compounding, classroom decorating, water supply, etc. Currently, we are working with Shree Jana Ekata Lower Secondary School of Chainpur VDC in Chitwan district with help of the volunteers from i-to-I in UK. This school is 8 km away from the famous Chitwan National Park. It has its own school building but it is not properly managed. We have finished the wall plastering, ground leveling, gardening, classroom decorating, compound wall, maintenance of toilet and water supply.
We have been working with Antodaya Janajati Awasiya School in Parsa of Chitwan with the volunteers support form Sweden. We are plastering the wall, leveling the ground, gardening in and around the school, compounding the school and decorating the classrooms. There are the Chepang, the indigenous and underprivileged students who are very much happy with the work of the volunteers in initiation of IDF Nepal.

School Toilet:
The schools which lack the toilet also create the problem to the students in the schools. There are some schools which do not have toilet at all, others lack separate toilets to the boy and girl students. The schools which have toilet are also mismanaged with the lack of proper water supply, proper drainage and proper cleanliness. So, our motto is not only to build school toilets but also to support them to manage it well. We are collecting the application form from the needed schools. We are planning to construct the public toilet for the passersby in the needy places in Kathmandu as well as in other places of the countries.
